The Sahtu Land Use Planning Board is distributing a REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) - Sahtu Land Use Plan GIS Methodology and Physical Limits Zone Descriptions Review.
The SLUPB is inviting interested consultants to respond to an RFP for the Sahtu Land Use Plan GIS Methodology and Physical Limits Zone Descriptions Review. SLUPB staff have worked towards reviewing all of the Sahtu Land Use Plan zoning as part of the 5-year review process. This includes refining the scale of the zoning shapefile to 1:50,000 where feasible using available data, creating a physical limits zone description that allows for zone reproducibility through information regarding how it was produced (e.g. metes and bounds, information about buffer creation), as well as correcting any discrepancies between the SLUP and its zoning shapefile. Upon completion of this project, a final report will be produced for the SLUPB that outlines their review of these documents and files produced by SLUPB staff, providing insight, feedback, and recommendations for the SLUPB to consider when moving forward with the 5-year review process.
