The Sahtú Land Use Planning Board (“SLUPB”) is pleased to release its updated Implementation Guide, which is an accompanying document to the Sahtú Land Use Plan (“Plan”). As mentioned in the communication sent last week, the 5-Year Review of the Plan has been approved and is legally binding, and will be released later this summer after its graphic design is complete. The updated Implementation Guide reflects the amendments of the 5-Year Review of the Plan, and is meant to guide applicants and regulators in their implementation of the Plan’s conformity requirements.
